Karen and Trevor Sonter, as owners and massage therapists of Hervey Bay Massage, welcome you to our salon and invite you to experience and enjoy all the benefits our massage has to offer.
For the past ten years we have been building a loyal and happy clientele through hard work, professional business practices and successful massage techniques. Our salon is situated in a central, but quiet part of Hervey Bay, at the Pialba Professional Centre (see mud map at bottom of page).
Meet Our Staff
Karen : Remedial Massage Therapist
Professional Interests : Helping clients understand their body's condition - why they feel pain, what caused it, how treatment will work for them, and what self-care methods will maintain and support the treatment.
Hobbies : Bird watching, gardening, reading.
Trevor : Remedial Massage Therapist
Professional Interests : Using everything I've learned to help a client achieve a better quality of health.
Hobbies : Photography, Fishing, Hockey
Fiona : Massage Therapist (Cert 4)
Professional Interests : Body Mechanics, Aromatherapy. Helping to relieve pain and tension in muscles.
Hobbies : Scrapbooking, Gardening.
Ali : Remedial massage Therapist
Professional Interests : From my years as a national level basketball player in Egypt I have a special interest in Sports Massage.
Hobbies : Golf, Soccer, Basketball.
Jessie : Massage Therapist (Cert 4)
Professional Interests : Using my skills to improve the physical wellbeing of my clients; and using their feedback to enhance my skills. I like to have my clients feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after each treatment.
Hobbies : Dancing, Swimming and Live music.

We are qualified sports and remedial massage therapists, and are experienced in a variety of massage and healing techniques. Massage is becoming more popular as a drug free option for many muscular complaints and not just a holiday treat or pampering indulgence. Other natural therapies that are available to you are:

Karen is a qualified workplace trainer and assessor and currently facilitates a range of workshops:One day stress management workshops :-
generally for groups of 10-15 in the workplace. This workshop allows participants to learn about and practice stress management techniques in aromatherapy, meditation, massage, stretch and breathing. The aim is to indulge and relax on the day, then take away the knowledge to use these techniques in your daily life. ( click here for more details)Location
Hervey Bay Massage is centrally located in the Pialba CBD, opposite Woolworths Shopping Centre in Torquay Road. If you are coming to the Salon for your massage, the best way to get there is to turn into Taylor Street then into Hillyard Street. The second driveway is the entrance to the Pialba Professional Centre car park. You will find lots of free off-street parking (see mud map below). Hervey Bay Massage is nestled in a quiet, paved courtyard on the ground floor. While there is no parking allowed in the courtyard, clients with a disability can be dropped off and picked up at the front door.
